This is a fresh album from the second part of the Russian Bards series. But to review compilations is a rather useless task.
Serious fans of someone's work will no doubt have all the necessary recordings in their collections and know the origins of everything. Unenlightened laymen, meanwhile, even if with some interest, will learn that Berkovsky's songs were written based on the words of famous poets, that "Grenada," which was sung by many at one point or another, and "Sobachka Tyabu" along with "The Don and Magdalene," were all written by the same person, and that "To the Music of Vivaldi" was sung not only by Sergei Nikitin. All this and many more familiar moments are offered to you with these 26 tracks.
Then there's "finding ten differences," an amusing activity of comparing the booklet lyrics to the song lyrics.
