THE DOORS  Doors Tribute Album: Marilyn Manson, UB40, John Lee Hooker

Marilyn Manson has signed on for the upcoming Doors tribute album. UB40 is also on board.

Titled The Doors: A Tribute, the album will be released in early 2000 on Elektra Records. Marilyn Manson is getting ready to record "Five to One" and "People Are Strange". UB40 will probably make cover version of "Light My Fire."

Surviving Doors members will make guest appearances throughout the album. Other artists honoring the Doors include Bush ("Break On Through"), John Lee Hooker ("Roadhouse Blues"), Bo Didley ("Love Her Madly"), and Days of the New ("The End").
